Dolpo Trekking - 17 Days

Upper Dolpo Trekking is the trek to one of the least developed places. This trek is one of Nepal’s most difficult treks in Nepal. The government did not give any incentives for tourists to visit this region until 1989. Between the Tibetan Plateau and the Dhaulagiri Himalayan range sits the Dolpo Region. In reality, this location is the highest populated land in the Dolpo region. It is an extremely remote region in Nepal. After all, it had been totally off-limits until recently.

The culture and lifestyle of the Dolpo region are still intact and untouched of modernization. In fact, the Upper Dolpo Trek route passes through many gigantic mountains ranges including Dhaulagiri and Annapurna alongside Kanjirowa among many others. to start Upper Dolpo Trekking, we start trekking from Jhupal village from where we start to explore the wonderful culture and other people and delightful forests of pine, oaks, and rhododendron. We then cross over the large mountain ranges and over the Numala Pass and that we eventually stop at Phoksundo Lake which is found nearby Ringmo village. Interestingly, Caravan was the primary Nepali movie with English subtitles which has also been nominated for Oscar Awards and this movie is entirely supported Dolpo Region. Hence, Upper Dolpo Trekking goes to be the very special and must-go destination of Nepal.

During Upper Dolpo Trekking, you’ll get to explore many other things besides the untouched and unspoiled biodiversity and intact culture of the Dolpo Region. Nepal Sumire Tours and Travel cordially welcome you all for this very unique and remote trekking destination of Nepal.
