The incredible two-week trek starts from Lukla leading to Namche Bazar up the Dudh Koshi Valley to a famous stopover Jorsale checkpoint, which is also an entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. Permits required for entering the National Park and restricted trekking areas are checked here. At Namche, you can halt for a few days for acclimatization so that it’s easier as you move upwards. The trail leaving Namche through Imja Khola has spectacular views of Ama Dablam Mountains, Kangtega with Lhotse and Everest roaring from the skyline. Traveling through Chhukung, Tengboche, and Lobuche, accommodating yourself in teahouses and gazing upon mountains all along the way, a final cautious walk through Kala Pathar will lead you to Everest Base Camp where you will have time of your life. SNP entry permits and TIMS cards are required for entry to Sagarmatha National Park.
